Peitou Hot Spring Museum
The structure was constructed in the year 1913 by the Taipei State Government and it was believed to be the biggest hot water baths in the whole of East Asia. Initially it was known as Peitou Hot Spring Public Baths but later in the year 1997 the Public Baths came to be known as Peitou Hot Spring Museum. This museum features 11 big exhibition rooms which are full of pictures, documents and items which stand testimony to the rich and glorious culture of Peitou.
Baoan Temple
The Baoan temple is a true reflection of the traditional Taiwanese culture and is of great national as well as international relevance. The significance of the Baoan temple lies in the celebration of Baosheng cultural festival. This temple is dedicated to the God of Medicine, Baosheng Dadi. It is believed by the locals that the God was first brought to Taiwan by the immigrants of Fujian and Tongan province.
Alishan Mountains
This mountain range is a continuation of the Yushan mountain range. This mountain range holds major fascination for the nature lovers and they will be delighted to see the natural wonders in their utmost beauty. It is a truly wonderful scenic spot and is famous for the formation of natural rocks, green woods and mountain streams. The native culture and tradition of the Tsou aborigines is well reflected here. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall
Situated on the southern slope of the Yuexiu Hill, the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall was built on the year between the year 1929 and 1931. This place is sure to refresh you with its invigorating charm after you explore the metropolis with full enthusiasm. The main feature of this hall is a bronze statue of Sun Yat-Sen which was set up in the year 1956. You are sure to experience a breathtaking sight when you step on the monument by the steel spiral staircase.
